More sizes for every need. With its four sizes, the DOUBLESKIN 2 covers a total weight range from 55 to 120 kg and is EN A certified. Compact when packed, the smallest size (16) weighs just 2.41 kg. There's a size for every requirement you have of your mountain paraglider. Another advantage of the DOUBLESKIN 2 is that it is suitable for teaching, with an appropriate wing loading. Enjoy the benefits of a light, safe wing right from your first flight. The different applications are illustrated in the diagram below.
Tip: if you're looking for a smaller, snappier mountain glider, check out the BANTAM 2 (EN D) in sizes 14 and 12.

A reliable companion. Thanks to a new profile and A lines set further back, the DOUBLESKIN 2 is extremely resistant to collapses. Glide performance and stability have been increased with an aspect ratio of 4.9 and a more complex structure: diagonal ribs and more vectorial bands than in its previous version are used. The compact wing remains stable even in accelerated flight and glides efficiently through turbulent air. Its natural manoeuvrability allows it to turn effortlessly in light thermals. In turbulent conditions, the high damping maintains a stable airspeed and prevents unwanted rolling movements.

Easy take-off. The DOUBLESKIN 2's simple, torsion-resistant 7mm wide Kevlar risers make it easy to prepare for take-off - from the very first flights to launches in demanding alpine terrain. The lines are short and their sheaths are coloured, which simplifies untangling and increases their durability. The take-off behaviour of the DOUBLESKIN 2 is particularly easy in a wide range of conditions and with different techniques. You don't have to adapt to the wing, the wing adapts to you.

Light to the extreme. Designed specifically for 'Hike & Fly' activities, mountaineering and 'Vol Bivouac', these products are developed to be as light and compact as possible. To achieve this, Nova uses the most advanced materials and technologies, without compromising safety. To make the most of your "Ultra-Light" equipment for as long as possible, take particular care when handling it.
The DOUBLESKIN 2 has been optimised in this respect: more cells and a more complex internal structure ensure better performance, increased stability and more precise handling. Links have replaced the soft links for connecting the lines to the risers. This makes it easier to handle line changes and trim checks. Compared with its predecessor, the DOUBLESKIN 2 weighs around 250g more as a result of these optimisations.

Target group of pilots
The DOUBLESKIN 2 (EN/LTF A) is aimed at pilots who appreciate an ultra-light wing that is very safe and simple, with fluid handling and minimal packing volume. Suitable for teaching purposes, the DOUBLESKIN 2 offers a great deal of confidence and flying pleasure from the very first flight. The classic use, however, is Hike & Fly in all its forms. Depending on the wing loading and choice of size, the DOUBLESKIN 2 can also be used for relaxed thermal flying. In size 16 with a high wing loading, the DOUBLESKIN 2 can even be flown as a super agile ultra-light mini wing - it is EN B certified in the extended weight range of 80 to 95 kg.
