The EVO LITE is derived from the EVO XC3. It is lighter and the closure system is the classic ABS with leg and chest buckles with anti-forgetting feature.

It is the ideal harness to progress safely towards longer and longer flights and distance.
The optional Speedbag is perfectly integrated into the harness and allows for performance (and comfort for warmth).

The harness is made of lightweight fabrics and without foam to make the harness lighter.
The three key points that have guided this new development are

  • Lighter than the EVO XC3: 800 g
  • Maintain excellent passive safety
  • Three-point locking with standard ABS

Lightweight fabric and soft walls make it easier to fit the EVO LITE in the bag. Complete safety with : BUMPAIR 17 XC, an Anti Balance System, leg straps with anti-forgetting system and a well placed and easy to access parachute pocket.

On take-off, it is obvious that the seat can be used. In flight, the adjustments and the geometry of the harness allow the greatest adaptations to the different morphologies and flight positions: the backrest can be straightened or on the contrary tilted backwards enough notably for the use of the footrest and the Speed bag. The seat extension allows you to adjust the support on the front of the tray. The seat can be adjusted to suit the shape and position of each rider.

Brand

Supair

Supair is a pioneering paragliding brand, born in Haute-Savoie in 1979 thanks to the innovative spirit of Pierre Bouilloux and mountain thermals. Its common thread: the pleasure of flying, closeness to paragliders, excellence and teamwork. And they have never lost the thread. SUPAIR harnesses are inscribed in the memory of free flight. Their canopies are instinctive with a reassuring feel. The accessories accompany you in the air. The SUPAIR brand brings together designers, children of flight, and stratospheric imaginations to design outdoor products. Literally. We don't put on airs, we simply look like what we are: an efficient, well-groomed brand that is open to the freedom of the winds. Since the beginnings of paragliding, the brand has remained faithful to the creative and adventurous spirit of the pioneers, to facilitate access to the air for all new paragliders and to imagine new, innovative products and services. Everything had to be invented in the first Supair flights. Everything is still to be invented with each flight in our community.
Supair
The paragliding sport harness is a very comfortable harness, designed for long duration or acrobatic flights. It is not the lightest of the range, but it is a strong and stable harnessThe seat is made from a single piece of wood and is fitted with a number of adjustments to make it one with you. Mostly with a tray for more comfort and precision in piloting, it can accommodate a reserve parachute under the seat. Two types of protectionsThe LFT and CE certified harnesses are integrated into the harness to ensure passive safety both during take-off and in the event of a hard landing. Airbag or foam, both have their advantages! Foambag protection : It is a compact 12 or 17 cm foam bumpair that usually goes up the back of the harness. Reinforced under the seat, it guarantees a maximum of safety, and this from the moment of take-off. This is the type of protection found on acro harnesses for example, or seaside harnesses that are sensitive to sand. Some brands such as Advance now offer compressible foam to make them more compact. Airbag protection : Most often, it is a preformed bag that inflates with air in the first few seconds of flight thanks to a snap ring that allows it to be shaped quickly. Compact and ultra-light, this protection is favoured by the majority of pilots because of its small size. This type of protection is used for reversible harnesses in particular, with the airbag turning over and acting as a backpack. Some brands offer a manual airbag system, which ensures active safety from take-off. The harnesses are constantly evolving! Don't hesitate to come and make your own opinion, we have them on trial in our shop...

There's one question in every paraglider's life: switching to a cocoon harness. The cocoon harness is the ultimate in comfort The coverleg is designed to provide total support, encompassing the entire body and reducing pressure points, as well as support for the legs, which gives the pilot rest and allows you to fly faster for longer, and effective protection against the cold, thanks to the coverleg.

Cocoon or not cocoon?

You're ready to take the plunge if : You are comfortable with the semi-recumbent position, which will require you to position your whole body differently when leaning on the harness. Yaw movements will have to be approached differently. Your pelvis is a little higher, and with it your centre of gravity, so instability will be a little more pronounced than in a sports harness. However, the leg straps help to reduce this effect. You're ready to bend your legs as soon as an unfamiliar sensation arrives. Cocoon harnesses are no longer just for paragliding competitors. Their comfort has seduced adventurers and they are becoming lighter to accompany your bivouac flights... We have a whole range of cocoon harnesses for you to try out. Here you'll find your first cocoon, stable and without too many adjustments, or light and with leg straps for mountain take-offs, with a large storage volume for the bivouac or a beautiful foiler for optimised aerodynamics... Come and try it out!
