More performance to conquer your goals.

The Skywalk CUMEO2 is a high-end intermediate wing designed for performance and light pilots with clearly defined goals.

Its steering intuitive combined with a high level of flying comfort The glider's ability to feel the thermal, tighten the core and fly efficiently from thermal to thermal is a key factor in the success of the glider. This makes it easier to feel the thermal, to tighten the core precisely, to fly efficiently from thermal to thermal.

The high level of performance of the CUMEO2 can be enhanced with the SPEED CONTROL system of the rear risers. When flying accelerated, you can effectively control your angle of attack effortlessly via the rear risers and significantly improve your average flying speed. This powerful cross country wing will allow you to enjoy a high level of flying pleasure over long distances.

Lightweight lifts with SPEED CONTROL

The risers are made of 7 mm webbing. More lightness and torsion resistance gives you a better overview when preparing for take-off. The ERGO brake handles are adjustable in size and offer maximum comfort during long cross country flights. With the SPEED CONTROL system you can actively control the angle of attack in accelerated flight via the C/B risers.

HOW DOES THE CUMEO FLY?

The CUMEO2's slim, anti-twist risers and clear line construction allow easy untangling on the ground. The internal seams of the mini-ribs increase the robustness and durability of the canopy - obvious advantages when working on the ground and preparing for take-off.

Providing clear information to the pilot, the glider will give the necessary confidence to feel immediately at ease. The turning quality of the CUMEO2 makes it possible to intuitively exploit thermals, to position oneself ideally for better climbing. The wing is very responsive to the controls. The brake travel is adapted to the requirements of thermal and cross country pilots. The result is a precise, intuitive and fatigue-free flight without any unpleasant surprises even in very strong conditions.

In turbulent air, the CUMEO2 provides enough feedback to sense and prevent sail collapses. This anticipation increases safety and allows you to stay on course.

The SPEED CONTROL system provides a real performance boost. In accelerated flight, you can now control the angle of attack via the rear risers, without touching the brakes, thus significantly increasing your average flying speed.

What is the glide ratio, trim and maximum speeds?

We know that this data is interesting for you as a pilot, but publishing it would be a bad idea for the following reasons:

1) Performance data is strongly dependent on the pilot's drag and is therefore related to the seating position and the harness. The difference between the harness and the aerodynamically favourable and unfavourable positions influences the glide ratio.

2) Performance increases with the size of the glider. A large glider will always perform better than the same glider in a smaller size. Thus, a question about the performance of a glider is always a question about its size.

3) There is no standardised method for testing the performance of paragliders. For example, speed varies with altitude and associated atmospheric pressures, but also with total flying weight.

This means that there is simply no data that would allow a serious comparison with another glider. The performance data depends on the harness, the size of the glider, the air mass and the PTV.

The B are the most versatile. A wide range to suit most paragliders! In this category you'll find gliders with more finesse, aimed at both occasional paragliders and experienced cross-country flyers. Even if they are not officially under-classified, they will be called B-, B, or B+, depending on their reactivity.
  • Leasy B paragliders (enB-)They allow you to tackle the first transitions with confidence, and will react more quickly than school sails during pitch, roll and wing manoeuvres.
  • Paragliders in B are available as soon as you have your pilot's licence. The pleasure of gliding is now just a wing's length away :) They help you get a better feel for thermals, and tighten your core so you can fly efficiently from thermal to thermal. Most of them are available in a light version, with thin dyneema risers and lightweight fabric. This considerably reduces storage volume, so they can be slipped into the smallest of rucksacks to suit hike-and-fly paragliding, cross-country flying, or your luggage to accompany your travels!
  • enB+ paragliders are even faster and livelier. Typically cross-country, they are designed for pilots who are already attacking thermals and who have accumulated a good number of flights. The piloting becomes precise and dynamic, the maximum speed high, and you experience a real pleasure of gliding. Their finesse means you can hang up at the best of your transitions... Still enB approved, it is however recommended that you have already completed a pilot training course (SIV) and have compiled 50 hours of flying time per year to be able to use this type of glider. Fans of bivouac flying will also find what they're looking for in this range, as lightweight versions are also available!
As you can see, there's bound to be an enB paraglider to suit you ...
