Description
Brand
Neo
Neo is a young brand in paragliding, which has been able to climb the ladder quickly thanks to the experience of Eric Roussel and the care taken in the manufacture of its products. Each harness is thought out and tested for several years before arriving on the market. A 100% French brand, since the workshop is in Haute-Savoie!

Here you will find all the accessories and small complementary equipment indispensable paragliding.
Cockpits, carabiners, helmets, risers, footbraces, accelerators, windsocks, thermal gloves, topo guides, relief maps... We've tried to think of all your needs!
Harness accessories :
The harness is often pre-accessorised when you buy it, but depending on the manufacturer, certain items are optional, so you can also equip it to your taste :)
- The foot brace: this is often a great help for getting into the harness. It's also very comfortable in the air!
- The accelerator: with 2 or 3 bars, it can be a precious ally for reaching the landing zone when the wind picks up...
- Instrument holder: that's it, you've started to equip yourself and you don't know where to put your toys! Fortunately, the cockpit, a kind of paraglider's "banana", allows you to keep all your instruments in sight and store them away at the end of the flight. There are several types of cockpit to choose from, from the lightest to the most elaborate. If all you have at the moment is a radio, a radio holder is all you need. It usually attaches to a strap on your harness.
- Ventral container: for touring harnesses such as leg harnesses, a ventral pocket is often necessary to hold your emergency equipment. It's easy to attach to the main carabiners. With the handle under your nose for the whole flight, it's hard to miss in the event of a mishap! Practical, it acts as a cockpit and you can attach your flight instruments to it with Velcro. Most risers are included in the pack. When you make your purchase, we'll install your reserve together, so that you can familiarise yourself with how to use it.
Hardware :
Your harness will be delivered with suitable carabiners, but we recommend changing them every 5 years. The width of their base is adapted to that of your straps, which is why you'll find a multitude of carabiners of various sizes and shapes in this section. To be effective, the pull must be exerted vertically; if your carabiner gets in the way: beware! This means that it is not suitable, and this inadequate force will make it fragile. Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any doubts, as we know our products inside out :). Light harnesses can do without metal and use connectors, small dyneema straps that are much lighter and surprisingly stronger than steel! There's only the psychological barrier to overcome...
Helmets :
After sweating it out on the school slope, it's easy to see why helmets are often the first investment you make in paragliding! Lightweight, it should make you forget you're wearing it. Don't hesitate to try out several brands, as they come in a variety of shapes and will adapt differently to the contour of your head. Most of them have a knob at the back to adjust perfectly. They must be approved for paragliding (EN966), and some are even approved for skiing!
Bookshop :
Learning in the field is all well and good, but you can't develop seriously without a solid knowledge of aerology. Mountain weather can be felt and observed, but it can also be learned. Our instructors have put together a selection of accessible books to help you become independent in the air in complete safety. From weather forecasts and piloting tips to flight stories and comic strips, our library is both varied and targeted! Precise paragliding topo guides, covering the whole of France (and more!), will finally open up the horizons of free flight... And if you want to relive your most memorable flights, our pretty relief maps 100% made in France will decorate your living room...
Clothing :
Beyond the pleasure of wearing your favourite brand, paragliding clothing is designed to adapt to your flying. Technically designed, the T-shirts are breathable, the jackets have elastane to support your piloting, and the gloves are reinforced with leather where the friction of the lines would already have ruined your ski gloves. We've also got the famous Nepalese feather sleeves, the ultimate weapon against the mitre on cross-country flights in the off-season!
Our shop is ideally located opposite the Planfait landing, so don't hesitate to drop in for a test ride or to ask for advice.
