Safety first. The VENTUS features a foam protector with a particularly small packing volume (between 18 and 20 cm, size M) that covers the lumbar vertebrae and protects the rider as soon as it's in place. Despite its compressibility, the protection does not lose its shock-absorbing properties, even after years of use. Protection made by German company SAS-TEC is also fitted to the upper back. In the event of an impact, the pressure of hard objects, such as stones or objects in the storage compartment, is spread over a larger surface area. This reduces the risk of serious back injury.
Reliable deployment: The VENTUS has an ergonomically optimised parachute container. Nova has tested the deployment in a multitude of directions. The EN standard for harnesses only stipulates that the parachute release force must be between 2 and 7 daN - testing deployment in different directions is not required. In addition, this feature has been tested with significant stress on the G-Force Trainer. In an emergency, the parachute can be deployed in any flight position. Even when subjected to high 'G's, it will deploy reliably.

Clever details for added comfort. The storage compartment has space for a water bottle and a pipette holder on the shoulder straps. This makes it easy for the pilot to stay hydrated even on long flights. The self-locking zip ensures that the storage compartment cannot be accidentally opened in flight, even if it was not fully closed before take-off. The included radio pocket can be attached to the shoulder strap in two positions. Additional zipped side pockets provide space for a mobile phone, camera, first aid kit, etc.

For intuitive use. Well-designed components make this harness simple for beginners and exciting for experienced pilots. The colour coding found on PRION and IBEX risers is reproduced on the VENTUS. The main suspension points and buckles are green on the right side and red on the left. The seat angle, shoulder straps and chest strap can also be adjusted in flight.

Pleasure in flight. The height of the suspension points has been optimised to ensure that all sizes of VENTUS are comfortable and stable in flight. Thanks to the honeycomb seatboard and optimised seat geometry, it reacts perfectly to weight transfer and provides direct feedback, even during dynamic manoeuvres. The protection, manufactured by German company SAS-TEC, offers excellent back support. The flexible Air Mesh backrest and central ventilation strip complete the seat's comfort. With the VENTUS, long flights are relaxed and comfortable.
