Playing together in the great outdoors:
Stretch your legs and set off on an adventure together, there's nothing like Nature reserve at the end of the lake... This family walk takes you on a quiet, varied circuit through unspoilt woodland, alternating between wild coppice and wooden footbridges, playing in the sun in the reed beds and skirting the lake and its waterways. You'll be able to immortalise the majestic hundred-year-old oak, one of the most beautiful trees in France, and climb a medieval fortress (a small watchtower on the edge of the lake). This 3 km loop will take you around 1 hour. ADVANTAGE/itinerary BIS: If your beloved toddler is dragging his feet, there's an escape route: about 800m from the car park, the suspension bridge will take you to the Doussard beach in 10 minutes: swings, ice creams and slides are sure to save the day.
Alternatively : the Roc de Cher reserve. A multitude of paths wind through this magnificent forest, leading to magnificent lookouts overlooking Lake Annecy. Enjoy getting lost in the twists and turns of this unspoilt area, and laze on the large stone slabs overlooking the lake. Duingt castle…
Every year, to our great delight, the Festival des Cabanes encourages the curious to get off the beaten track and sow the seeds of new ideas. original, ephemeral cabins all around Lake Annecy. Through these slender wooden structures, architects from all over the world present a poetic vision of man and his place in nature. Each hut has its own story... Don't hesitate to drop in at the tourist office to pick up a copy. the mapYou'll find it easier to track them down! There will also be short-lived entertainment on certain days (storytelling, games, evening entertainment, etc.).

Play parks :
Depending on their age, there are different play parks for your children. The largest accrobranche is located above Talloires, in the park Acro'Aventure. You're bound to find something to suit your little monkey! Tyroliennes, sensory trails, treasure hunts and sweet crêpes await you... At the Criqu'Parc colourful and fun modules adapted to their age. There's a zip line, games of skill and balance, and a giant slide. It's ideally situated on the edge of a little-known beach, where you can relax away from the crowds. Kayaks and paddles are available for hire. There's also a small organic refreshment bar. And if you forget what time it is, there are acoustic concerts in the evening to keep you entertained for a while longer...
To gain altitude and cool off, climb up to the Fort de Tamié ! Nestled on the heights of the Col de Tamié, between Faverges and AlbertvilleThis gigantic fortification almost blends in with the forest.... You'll find everything you need for a quick bite to eat, divine local ice creams, and above all a large accrobranche which runs among trees several hundred years old. There's also a play area for the youngest visitors to have fun in the inflatable modulesor to train on a mini accrobranche adapted to their size.

Splash in the water :
We can't afford to miss the Lake Annecy without taking a dip in the turquoise waters! If your toddler wants to learn how to swim, the local lifeguards offer a range of swimming lessons. swimming lessons for children, from 6 years ! The friendly swimming club Pool'Nat even initiates them from the age of 3, alone or in a group, which is quite rare in France 🙂

A bit of magic :
After all these adventures, admire the multicoloured peacocks and enjoy a chocolate waffle on the esplanade of the sumptuous Château de Menthon will always be appreciated. Strolling through the grounds of this enchanting monument will plunge you into another time... Access to the gardens is free, and tours of the château are available almost every day, without appointment.
