En vol rando, on utilise majoritairement des sellettes légères à cuissardes. Celles-ci peuvent être dénuées d’airbag et de poche secours. Pour y remédier, un container ventral est alors nécessaire pour fixer votre parachute de secours.

Fast, la poche para ventrale est universelle et va se fixer en 2 mouvements aux maillons principaux. Il s’agit d’un grand pod à 4 volants qui va envelopper votre secours, tout en le maintenant fermé par une belle grosse poignée colorée. La poignée étant sous votre nez tout le vol, difficile de la rater en cas de vrac ! Practice, grâce à sa position bien en vue, elle fait souvent office de cockpit et on pourra y fixer ses instruments de vol avec du velcro.

Plusieurs modèles s’offrent à vous, plus ou moins légers selon la pratique visée et la taille de votre parachute. Il n’est pas nécessaire de rester fixé sur la marque de votre sellette ou de votre parachute de secours, seule la taille est à prendre en compte. Pour la plupart, les élévateurs de secours sont compris dans le pack. Un tableau de compatibilité est souvent fourni par les constructeurs, mais n’hésitez surtout pas à venir en boutique avec votre secours, car selon qu’il soit rond ou carré les poches para ventrales s’adapteront différemment.
